This means so much to me.

Here are pictures of my father's grave and my grandparents grave markers at Cypress Lawn cemetery in San Francisco, California where they are all buried. Josh decided to go visit it when he and Courtney went to San Francisco, the first part of February. I have not been there since I was 15 years old. I had planned to leave for California in 2000 for my Grammy's funeral, and my daughter Elliah was hit by a car that day, so I did not get to go to the cemetery then, with the rest of the family. I used to go there with my Grammy to put flowers on my Dad's grave. I remember how the fresh cut flowers and the crisp california air smelled way back when I was a child. Thanks to Josh and Courtney for these pictures. It means alot to me.

He is Married!

Well our 6th child is married. It happened on Thursday and we all had a wonderful day. All of our married children got married in their birth order. How often does that happen, and I am sure that it will continue with the last two. (I mean the order) We were lucky that the weather was as good as it was. Sunny, and the snow was melted away in Utah Valley. After the Temple ceremony we went to the 6th floor of the Wilkinson Center on BYU campus for a beautiful wedding dinner. There was a wonderful program and Jacob surprised us all when he sang to his beautiful bride. A popular song called "With You" He did a great job and Kelli loved it. There was wonderful live Celtic music for part of the program and so many other wonderful things including all the siblings of both Jacob and Kelli saying a few words and telling some interesting stories about them. Todd and I were exhausted after the day was over. We realized however that it is not over for us as we will have a reception here next week with many relatives and family coming. I will collapse after it is all over! These pictures aren't the best angles. Very candid. We will post some good wedding pictures later on.

Of Course!

Of course we were excited to get them here with us!
Of course, we had to make Valentine Cookies!
Of course, we had to make Valentines!
Of course the girls had to draw many pictures and
color many pictures in their new coloring books.
Of course we probably gave them too many treats!
Of course we got lots of squeezing and loves in.
Of course we read books!
Piggie Pie
5 minute stories from Disney
A bad case of Stripes
Of course we watched movies. They had not seen. . .
Lady and the Tramp or Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
We watched Charlotte's Web, and lots of Spongebob Squarepants
Of course we went to church
OF COURSE WE LOVED HAVING THEM AND. . .
Of course we were glad to get back to the quiet.
Of course it was GREAT GREAT GREAT!

Always entertaining. (the kids, not the washer!)

This must be a very entertaining washing machine! Our washing machine has a see-through lid and you can watch the whole cycle if you want. Then when it is on spin, it goes so fast that it sounds like it is an airplane
taking off. The girls were entertained for a good half hour. This just looked so cute and funny to us, that we had to take some pictures.

Sad Day in Logandale

The steeple is still standing. It reminds me of a world war II zone.

Upon awaking Wednesday Morning Feb. 5th, we knew something was on fire and it was something very large. We got in the car at 6:15 a.m. to go see what it was. And to our surprise, the beloved White Logandale Chapel was burning to the ground. We could not believe our eyes. No it was not foul play, just one of those electrical things in a very historic building to this area and even all of Nevada. One of the oldest of it's kind. Tonight the Stake leaders and Bishops are deciding where each of the Wards from that building will meet now. The great thing about it is the records were not all destroyed and there were things that were salvaged, like hymn books and maybe a piano or two. Life will go on, and everyone will be fine, but it is indeed a sad sight to see. Our two youngest children were baptised in that building and it was our meetinghouse for ten years. Good-bye to an important icon to this area!
