For our 33rd anniversary, we just decided we needed a some time in one of our favorite places. We stayed over night in Springdale, Utah and a hiked in Zion National park and then onto Cedar Breaks National monument. We were lucky enough to hit both on one of the Free days for all federal fee areas. We had a great time and found a really cool very narrow canyon. Here are some pictures from our mini getaway! Todd and I like to get away from the crowds in Zion and hike on the East side, of the tunnel. Where we went this day, we never saw any other hikers, and it was such a beautiful perfect day weather wise.
A very special project which I just finished, is the blessing dress for my newest granddaughter Claire Elise. She will get blessed on October 9th and so we are going to Cedar City for the event. I used the same fabric for this one as for Kinley's blessing dress, but the pattern is different. I have sewn several now and they have all been different. I have been so honored to be able to make these special baby blessing dresses, as they are all so beloved by Grammy!
Todd and I have been married for 33 wonderful years. We are known as Grammy and Pa Pa to all the grandchildren. We love our 8 children, 7 spouses, 18 grandchildren so much and this blog is dedicated to our family and what's happening with all of them! Also check out my other blog. This is my creative side.
